Jeff Coyle / Director
Owner and founder of GTG Outdoors, Jeff was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, and has loved the outdoors all his life. He learned to hunt upland game birds from his father and graduated to big game hunting with great success pursuing Southern Alberta whitetail. For Jeff, there is nothing better than climbing a peak to see what’s on the other side. He is the co-host of Descendants of the North, and producer of various other outdoors tv-series and productions.

Dana is an avid outdoorsman and a skilled videographer with over 13 years of experience in the Outdoor Industry. He has a deep understanding of outdoor content creation, and his expertise lies in producing captivating visual narratives that resonate with outdoor enthusiasts and adventure seekers.

Aiden Church is a filmmaker and visual storyteller based in Alberta, Canada. Influenced by camping, travel, and the outdoors, his work blends cinematic imagery with authentic storytelling to document his experiences, and the natural world.

Todd Zimmerling
President and CEO of Alberta Conservation Association
Todd Zimmerling is President and CEO of Alberta Conservation Association. His passion for the outdoors led him to an undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Alberta and an MSc. and PhD. in population ecology from the University of British Columbia. A lifelong hunter and angler, Todd’s connection to Alberta’s wild spaces has shaped both his personal interests and his professional path. His knowledge and experience have made him a valued member of the conservation community.
Ken Kranrod
Vice President of Operations and Strategic Partnerships at Alberta Conservation Association
Ken Kranrod is Vice President of Operations and Strategic Partnerships at Alberta Conservation Association. His career began as a field biologist specializing in caribou habitat research. Since joining ACA, his background and commitment to conservation have helped him lead numerous initiatives at ACA ranging from internal operational processes and project management to developing partnerships with third-party partners, fundraising, and public outreach events that support hunting, fishing, and conservation.
Jalen Hulit

Jalen Hulit is a biologist with Alberta Conservation Association and has always had a passion for the outdoors. Growing up on a farm, he spent countless hours exploring nature, learning to hunt and fish, and developing a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Those early experiences inspired him to pursue a career in conservation.
Mike Uchikura

Mike Uchikura is a biologist with Alberta Conservation Association and an avid hunter. During hunting season, often he can be found exploring Alberta’s coulees with his trusty bird dog by his side. His connection to the outdoors began in his youth, when he explored abandoned farmsteads and shelterbelts. For Mike, hunting is about more than the pursuit—it is an opportunity to immerse himself in nature and experience a true sense of freedom.
